Similar in bloom to the Russell Strain, but much earlier and more compact. Beautiful mix of both solids and lovely bicolors. Suitable for planting in beds, borders and even larger containers or planting boxes.

Palmately compound leaves and pea-like flowers in erect spikes. For moist, acidic soils. Short-lived and heat-sensitive plants that are best treated as annuals in hot, humid climates. Deadheading encourages reblomming. Good early summer blooming cut flower.

Danger: All parts of plant are poisonous if ingested
