black are smashing by themselves. Interesting pods shoot
out clusters bright gold-orange daisy type blooms in
clusters. Certified Too-Die-For Plant! Tolerates short

The genus is huge, and
the best of the species are large, handsome plants of
great charm that thrive in full sun when moisture is
reliable or even constant, and partial shade where it is
not. Its large, 6in leaves are chocolate maroon above
and purple beneath. In late summer, a multitude of
Daisy-like, bright yellow-orange flowers top off the
show.
