These plants are long-lived perennials. In zones
of hot summers, grow in partial shade. Avoid hot afternoon sun.
Blooms of this plant is similar to that of Heuchera macrantha,
except that the blossoms are usually pink or red. Most are grown
for the foliage that is usually lustrous green, and often shows
some silver in the upper leaf. Remove the flower heads as they
finish. Seeds can be collected in the summer.
